Sometimes inspiration arrives in the smallest of places.
For our family, it started with little marks on our children. A birthmark often seen in premature babies. What may looked like a simple kiss of color on their skin became something much more meaningful to us. A reminder of just how extraordinary their beginnings were.
Our children’s unexpected stay in the NICU affected every member of our family. We all found ourselves learning a new language, navigating monitors, alarms, uncertainty, and most importantly, learning how to celebrate the smallest victories. We experienced the emotional roller coaster of watching our babies fight their way forward—one day, one milestone, one breath at a time.
But we also discovered something we will never forget. A community of women and families showing up every day with courage, hope, and love; even when they were exhausted and afraid. We witnessed the strength of tiny babies and the compassion of the people who cared for them. We learned that sometimes, simply knowing you aren't alone can make an overwhelming journey feel a little lighter.
Those little birthmarks came to represent the strength, resilience, hope, and beautiful stories that can begin long before a baby ever gets to leave the hospital.
And from that experience, Stork’s Kiss was born.
Our mission is to surround these families with compassion, connection, resources, and hope. Because every baby has a story. Every family deserves support. And sometimes, the smallest mark can leave the biggest impression.
